I presently serve as the Cybersecurity Manager for NASA supporting the EOS/EOSDIS Earthdata Cloud Platform at Goddard Space Flight Center. I had the privilege of participating in a working group at the Goddard Space Flight Center, where our focus was on addressing National Security Council directives pertaining to Multifactor Authentication (MFA), Data In-Transit (DIT) encryption, and Data At Rest (DAR) encryption. Our objective was to aid the agency in aligning with the mandates outlined in Executive Order 14028.
Previously I served as the ISA (Information System Adminstrator) and Deputy Cloud Lead for NASA supporting the EOS/EOSDIS Earthdata Cloud Platform at Goddard Space Flight Center.
I am a Senior Level Systems Architect & Security Engineer with a proven track record building large-scale computer systems both on premise and in the cloud, cloud governance addressing needs around security, cost optimization and regulatory compliance.
I provide a high level of proficiency in operational IT security, security policy & auditing, systems architecture, and network architecture. I believe that the cloud should move us forward without sacrificing security or privacy. In software testing, the large size of the input domain makes exhaustively testing the inputs a daunting and often impossible task. Pair-wise testing is a popular approach to combinatorial testing problems. This paper reviews Pair-wise testing and its history, strengths, weaknesses, and tools for generating test cases.
This paper examines the Star Schema Benchmark, an alternative to the flawed TPC-H decision support system and presents reasons why this benchmark should be adopted over the industry standard for decision support systems.
In September 2023, I was distinguished with the Flight Directorate Peer Award, a testament to my commitment to excellence in the role of a cybersecurity manager. This accolade acknowledges my significant contributions to the advancement of identity federation within cloud environments.
